Our boarding team is led by Jenna. Born and raised in Louisville Kentucky, Jenna has always had a passion for animals, and has owned many herself— maybe too many. She started helping manage her family’s farm at a young age which taught her a strong work ethic early on. That began her love for the great outdoors, and everything involving nature. She uses her desire of helping others by caring for all the pets, and insuring their owners that their furbabies are getting the best care possible at The Pet Station. If she’s not caring for the dogs/cats boarding with us she can be found in the woods of Henry County preparing for hunting season, or on the lake fishing and kayaking.

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Catherine has always had a passion for animals. From a young age, she planned to start a rescue facility for any dog in need that she came across. While she develops her business acumen in order to start that dream, she works at The Pet Station Country Club full time and has been doing so since 201 9. In her free time, she takes care of her two Chihuahuas, two Great Danes, Labrador Retriever, Boxer-mix, mini–Australian Shephard, three inside domestic cats, and several outside domestic cats. While she hasn’t always worked at The Pet Station, she has always embodied its mission and love for animals, which is why she has been such a perfect fit in a leadership role of the boarding department.

Beck’s love for animals goes back to her early childhood, where she owned both dogs and exotic animals. She found herself in Florida for the start of her college career, and worked as a volunteer intern and animal caretaker at the local Humane Society. She then moved back to her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee to pursue a Bachelors in Animal Science, all while working as a veterinary technician & boarding manager. During this time she gained both knowledge and hands-on experience. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in May, moved to Louisville shortly after, and started her career at The Pet Station Country Club. She now is a dog mom to two Australian Shepherds, and in her spare time enjoys traveling, hiking, and advocating for species conservation.

Our trainer, Carole, is an Associate Member of the International Associate of Canine Professionals (IACP) and a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. Born and raised right outside of Louisville, in the small town of Pewee Valley, Carole loved spending time teaching their family dogs tricks, but it was at her first job at age 15 working at a dog kennel that her fascination with learning about all the different breeds was born. Before pursuing dog training, she went the traditional college route, graduating from Sullivan University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Hospitality & Tourism Management, ultimately landing in the beauty salon industry. It wasn’t until she adopted her behaviorally challenged dog, Otis the Aussiedoodle, that her passion for understanding canine behavior and learning how to change it was ignited. Carole acquired her knowledge of dog behavior and training by apprenticing under Certified Dog Trainers and Behavior Specialists Scott Burnley and Emily Urchuck, self-study, and leading the Daycation program for almost 2 years. In that time, she adopted her Australian Shepherd mix Hank, who sparked her love for trick training. Sadly, Carole’s time with Otis was cut short, as he was suffering from a brain tumor. Not long after Otis crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, Carole took in a foster dog, Weezie, who also has her fair share of behavioral challenges. Hank and Weezie bonded quickly, and it didn’t take long for Weezie to officially become Carole’s first foster-fail.

Kaytlin became mesmerized by dog grooming when she first witnessed the skill in action. She grew up with labs, which she groomed herself, but didn’t really know that the art of dog grooming even existed until her first job at a boarding facility. She started grooming in 2015 and has been hooked ever since. Kaytlin, a Louisville native, has always had a love for animals – big and small. She showed horses and joined her local 4-H program when she was in high school, and her first job was mucking stalls and feeding horses before and after school. She now has a cockapoo named Arya and two cats, Biscuits and Dijon. When she’s not at work making her clients look and feel amazing, she can be found hiking with her dog or reading.
