The Pet Station Pet Grooming Salon and Boutique in Louisville, KY (Prospect) is pleased to welcome Kathy Weathers to the Pet Station Pet Grooming Team!  With the addition of Kathy the Pet Station will be able to offer even more availability for all of your Pet Grooming needs in the Louisville area! Below is a little bit about Kathy so when you have the time please stop by and say hello to Kathy!

Kathy Weathers is a wife of 28 years, a mother of one, and a grandmother of two. In 2004, Kathy graduated from the Nash Academy of Animal Arts (a nationally and internationally known pet grooming school) in Lexington, KY. After graduating, Kathy owned her own pet grooming salon in southern Indiana for three years.  For the last three years Kathy has been an instructor at Nash Academy.

Along with being a pet groomer and pet grooming instructor Kathy is also a competitive dog groomer. Kathy has won two dog grooming competitions in the hand stripping category, as well as winning best all around technique.

In Kathy's spare time she play's the mountain dulcimer (Kentucky's State Instrument) with a group called Heartstrings. Kathy is happy to be back in the Louisville area at the Pet Station Pet Grooming Salon and Boutique which has afforded her more time to spend with her family!
